In a world where personal identity is often reduced to a single title, Jamie Villamor stands as a powerful example of what it means to live without limits. Entrepreneur, model, podcaster, traveler, competitive shooter, and philanthropist, she embodies a new generation of women who refuse to be defined by outdated expectations.

Jamie, you are a remarkably multifaceted person — an entrepreneur, model, podcaster, traveler, competitive shooter, and philanthropist. Your career challenges the traditional stereotypes about what a woman is “supposed to be” in different industries. Was there a moment when you consciously decided to do things your own way?

I think that moment came when I realized that trying to fit into other people’s expectations will always make you feel smaller than you are meant to be. I’ve worn many hats in my life — model, podcaster, entrepreneur, athlete, and mother — and for a long time people tried to place those roles into separate boxes. But life isn’t meant to be lived inside boxes.

At some point I stopped asking myself, “Does this make sense to other people?” and started asking, “Does this feel aligned with who I am?” That shift was powerful. I stopped trying to explain myself and simply began living more fully.

The truth is, you don’t have to choose only one version of yourself. You are allowed to evolve, explore, and pursue the things that truly inspire you — even if they don’t fit the traditional mold.

You compete in shooting, a field that has long been considered predominantly male. In 2025 you represented the United States at the PCC/Mini Rifle World Shoot in the Czech Republic. What was the most surprising discovery for you when you entered this world?

What surprised me most was how much the sport is really about discipline, mental focus, and personal accountability. From the outside, people might assume it’s about strength or aggression, but in reality it’s about precision, control, and mindset.

Competing at the World Shoot in the Czech Republic and representing the United States was one of those moments when you truly realize the power of commitment. Everyone there operates at an incredibly high level, and it pushes you to grow.

It was genuinely one of the greatest honors of my life. I was incredibly proud to be part of the USA Ladies PCC/Mini Rifle team, and what made the experience even more special was the bond with my teammates. When you train and compete at that level, you constantly push each other forward. There’s a deep respect and camaraderie that develops because everyone there has sacrificed a lot to reach that stage.

Your podcast Always On Adventures is dedicated to travel. Is there a place in the world that unexpectedly changed you or your worldview?

Travel humbles you in the best possible way. It reminds you that the world is far bigger than our daily routines and perspectives.

One place that truly shifted my mindset was Switzerland. The stillness of the mountains, the clarity of the air, and the way nature commands your full attention force you to slow down. In those moments you realize how much noise we carry in our everyday lives.

But honestly, every destination teaches you something. Italy reminds me to savor life. Another place that will always be deeply meaningful to me is Hawaii. It was actually the destination of my very first travel date with my fiancé, and recently it became even more special because it’s where we got engaged.

There’s something about the energy there — the ocean, the pace of life, the connection to nature — that reminds you to slow down and appreciate the moment you are in. Travel expands your empathy because it allows you to see the world through many different lenses.

Today many people talk about building a “personal brand.” As a model and public figure, you are constantly in the spotlight. For you, is a personal brand a strategic tool or a natural extension of your personality?

For me, a personal brand must start with authenticity. If it’s manufactured, people can sense it immediately. My life already includes travel, entrepreneurship, family, sport, and personal growth, so what people see online is simply a reflection of those experiences.

Of course there is strategy in how you communicate your story — that’s part of building a platform — but it only works if the foundation is genuine.

What helps me maintain balance is staying connected to my values and to the people in my life who knew me long before social media. My family, my close friends, and the everyday moments that have nothing to do with content or cameras — those are the things that keep me grounded.

When you stay anchored in who you are, the noise of social media becomes just background.

You are actively involved in raising awareness about mental health. What cornerstones of maintaining mental well-being would you highlight? And when you look toward the future, what kind of impact would you most like to have on other people’s lives?

Mental health is something I care deeply about, because life is not always as polished as the highlight reels we see online. Everyone faces challenges, doubts, and moments of struggle.

For me, the foundations of well-being are simple but powerful: movement, connection, purpose, and perspective. Taking care of your body through exercise, staying connected with people you trust, pursuing something meaningful, and reminding yourself that difficult seasons are temporary.

Looking ahead, what matters most to me is inspiring people to live fully and intentionally. If someone listens to the podcast or follows my journey and feels encouraged to pursue their own adventure — whether that means traveling somewhere new, trying a different path in life, or simply believing in themselves — that’s the impact that truly matters.

At the end of the day, success isn’t defined by titles or achievements. It’s about how you make people feel and the courage you inspire in them to live their own story.
